Grief and Loss
Support Group

This group is for people navigating grief, loss, and life changes that have left them feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure of what comes next. Grief does not only happen after death. It can show up after a relationship ends, a caregiving role changes, a job is lost, a diagnosis arrives, or life no longer looks the way it used to.

The Kind of Grief We Make Space For

☑️ Death-related grief: Losing someone you love

☑️ Non-death grief: Divorce, job loss, identity changes, health changes, caregiving changes, or life not feeling like it used to

☑️ Anticipatory grief: The grief that can come before an expected loss

☑️ Grief that feels stuck or heavy: When grief does not seem to soften, even with time

My Approach to Grief Counseling

I provide a safe, judgment-free space where you can express your emotions freely. Together, we'll:

  • Acknowledge, validate, and understand your feelings & experiences

  • Explore healthy coping mechanisms

  • Explore historical, cultural, belief systems, identity, relationship dynamics, & any other relevant factors that could impact a person’s grief experience

  • Find ways to honor your loss

  • Work through guilt or unresolved issues

  • Discover meaning and growth through your grief journey

Remember, there's no "right" way to grieve. Your journey is unique, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Root Work in Grief Support

Grief often brings older stories to the surface. It can stir up childhood experiences, family roles, complicated relationships, unfinished conversations, and beliefs about what we are allowed to feel or need.

Root Work helps make space for those deeper layers. In this work, grief is not treated as something to “get over.” It is explored as something connected to love, history, identity, memory, and the relationships that shaped us.
